{Wedding} Kim & Dan

Saturday, January 24th, 2009

Brace yourself- this is going to be a long post :)

From the first time I met these two, I knew there wedding day was going to be a blast. These two are crazy about each other, and so much fun to photograph! I really can’t say enough how amazing their wedding was. Their church was beautiful and bright- which is a big deal to me! After the ceremony, we went to a great indoor location in Akron, The O’Niel House. We had so much fun all day long. It’s days like this where I stop and ask myself, “This is my job?? Hanging out with fun, really really good looking people on their wedding day??” And the answer is yes. Yes it is :D

Photo time:

Chad spent some time with Dan and his groomsmen before the ceremony started.

I was with Kim and her bridesmaids- who made me feel like a part of the group from the moment I walked in.

The gorgeous detailing of Kim’s dress.

Absolutely stunning.

I love this moment between Kim and her mom just minutes before the ceremony!

I wanted to show off Kim’s gorgeous bridesmaids without adding even more photos to this super long post, so we have a bridesmaid montage!

All of the children in the wedding were so cute- and did so great throughout the whole day!

Chad caught this shot of Kim and her father- love it!

Gorgeous BRIGHT church!!

These two are so adorable :)

:D

We had such a great time with the whole bridal party- thanks again!!

The new Mr. & Mrs.

Love that sunshine just barely peeking through the window in this one.

On to the reception!

We’ve been to a lot of weddings and have heard lots of toasts- you know they’re good when these are the brides reactions :)

There first dance was so sweet- these are some of my all-time favorite first dance photos:

Here is my new #1 all-time favorite first dance photo! Kim- you are so gorgeous!!

Once the party got started it did not stop- just the way we like them!

:)

Thank you so much, Dan and Kim!! Your wedding was perfect and I’m so glad Chad and I were a part of it!

{Wedding} Jessamyn & Jeffrey

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009

Chad and I couldn’t have asked for a greater wedding to close out 2008! Jeffrey and Jessamyn are such a sweet, sweet couple. Jessamyn was all smile the whole day :) We had the priviledge of photographing Jessamyn’s cousin’s wedding earlier in the year, so it was nice to see a few familiar faces among the guests.

I started the day with the ladies- how sweet is this moment between her and her neice?!

Jessamyn’s father bought her this necklace as a wedding gift.

Pre-ceremony dance party!

Jeff and Jessamyn made the decision not to see each other before the ceremony. However, they did have a very cute idea for a photo of them “together” before the ceremony!

All smiles all day :)

Proud parents of the bride.

Still smiling :)

Since the ceremony took place on a chilly December evening, we shot a few formals inside the church before we went to the reception.

The first dance and parents dance were such sweet moments- smiles and tears all around.

That’s a tear rolling down her father’s cheek- I love this image!

Everyone was a part of the evenings festivities!

Thanks again Jeff & Jessamyn!! We’re so glad you allowed us to be a part of your wedding day!

Here’s a quick preview of what I’m working on right now- posts to follow :)

Dan & Kim’s Wedding!

And, Ashley and Nate’s Engagement Session!

{Wedding} Lori & Kevin

Saturday, January 10th, 2009

When I think about Lori and Kevin’s wedding day, the most prominent thought I have is how much their family and friends love them. You can tell they have a special place in everyones hearts.

Thank you so much, Kevin & Lori, for allowing us to be there to document your day! We had so much fun!

Starting off the day with the ladies- Lori’s flower girl taking in all the action.

Isn’t she beautiful?? Everyone was calling her “Barbie” all day :)

Lori’s father giving her away- I always love this moment!

There were candles everywhere in the sanctuary. It made for very romantic lighting.

I have to stop you here and give you short explanation of the GRAND entrance this bridal party made. Once all of the couples entered (Excluding Kevin and Lori), the bridal party lined up along the dance floor and each member made their way down the line, putting on an incredible show for the guests. These people know how to start a party.

Their first dance was so sweet. I love the way couples just fade away into their own world, seeing only each other :)

Action shot!

This may be one of my favorite reception photos ever- check out his expression on the left! Her robot moves stunned him! Hahah! Courtney, I’m jealous of your dance skills :)

Going back to how loved these two are… They were serenaded – twice! – by 3 of their guests. Very sweet moments.

Thank you again, Kevin and Lori, we’re so blessed to have clients like you!!
